![]() All in all, a lovely show, one of my favorites. The script was solid, especially when comparing to "The Red Serpent," which was actually a very mediocre episode. ![]() Story-wise, it had much more, as the military strategy and everything was captivating. ![]() In every way, War of the Damned beats all the others. Really brought out the similarities between those two. I especially enjoyed the conversation between Spartacus and Crassus in the finale. Batiatus remains my favorite villian, but Crassus and Caesar are my favorite Romans for sure. All the villains in the previous seasons were complete dicks, which was fun, but it was nice to have a villiain I actually respected. Enslaved in gladiatorial school, the newly christened Spartacus must try to suppress his desire for vengeance when his new master promises to reunite him with his wife. Liam finally did justice to his role as Spartacus lay dying, and proved himself as good as Andy in gaining my sympathy for the character.Īlso, the villains were more admirable. Examples include Spartcus' parting with Crixus, Crixus' death, and everything in the final episode. hero character illustration, God of War III Mortal Kombat PlayStation 4, god of war, video Game, fictional Character, weapon png 950x1960px 1.6MB cartoon. Just finished watching the series, and have to say War of the Damned was my favorite.Įspecially near the end, the acting chops of all the major characters leaped out, especially Crixus, and they gave some of most emotionally wrenching scenes in television ever.
